Sabdia

Privacy Policy

Sabdia Constructions Pty Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry, register interest in a property, or apply for agent access, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your enquiry. Agent applicants may also provide their agency, licence number, and market areas. We do not collect sensitive information through this website.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to respond to your enquiry, keep you informed about the properties or programs you have expressed interest in, and improve our services. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Storage and security

Enquiries are stored securely with our database provider and access is restricted to authorised Sabdia team members. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.

Disclosure

We may share your information with trusted service providers who help us operate this website and communicate with you (for example, our email delivery provider). These providers are bound to handle your information only for the purpose of providing services to us.

Where your information is stored

This website runs on cloud services whose servers are located outside Australia, mainly in the United States and Europe. That means your enquiry is stored and processed overseas by our hosting provider, our database provider, our email delivery provider and, where enabled, our newsletter and analytics providers. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, but by submitting an enquiry you consent to that overseas disclosure. Australian Privacy Principle 8 requires us to tell you this; if you would prefer not to have your details stored overseas, contact us by phone or email instead of using the forms.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets nothing in your browser beyond what it needs to work — a per-session flag so the opening animation plays once, and, if you sign in to our admin portal, your session. Where analytics is enabled we use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode: analytics storage is denied by default and is only switched on if you press Accept on the notice. Decline, or simply ignore it, and no analytics cookie is set. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the notice back. Analytics data is aggregated, IP addresses are anonymised, and none of it identifies you personally.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we may reasonably need them to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and to meet our record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer needed for any purpose for which it may be used or disclosed, and we are not required by law to retain it, we destroy or de-identify it.

Access and correction

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable period.

If something goes wrong

If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will assess it and, where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies, notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.

Contact

For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us via the enquiry form on this website or by email. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
